PORTAL GUN mod

The Portal Gun mod is a mod based off of the games Portal and Portal 2, as you may or may not know. But in the game, you get the stuff already or as you level up, whereas in minecraft, it's a mod and you have to craft the items yourself. So let's get into it!

In this mod, there is a new piece of armor, called the 'long fall boots'. These boots make it so you do not recieve fall damage at all - AKA - negates all damage.

(our modpack has the superheroes unlimited mod, so if you are wearing a superhero suit, you won't get any damage anyways.)

NOTE: THIS MOD MUST BE ADDED IN MANUALLY! IT IS COMPATIBLE!

That dust-sort-of, thing, is used for making a special item for crafting recipes in this mod, called a 'Miniature Black Hole'. Sounds creepy, right?

Smelting down an enderpearl in a furnace seems to give you an ender-pearl-dust sort-of thing! You can also turn it back into an enderpearl.

Placing a Miniature Black Hole in the middle, followed by diamonds on the sides, and iron ontop and under the diamonds will make a block called the 'Portal Spawner'.

To use it, do this:
1: Place one on a cieling, wall OR floor.
2: Do the same with the second one (I suggest putting it somewhere where it will take you a while to get, usually, otherwhise, it would be a waste of a nether star).

3: Select a pair of colors! (The first portal spawner, I recommend having the blue color of the first portal gun on the first row, and the second portal spawner, I recommend having the orange color of the first portal gun on the second row).
4: Power 'em up with redstone, then simply walk through your portals!

(WARNING! DON'T PUT ANY MOBS THROUGH THE PORTALS DIRECTLY, BUT RATHER DO THIS: 1. Hover over the mob you want to take with you, 2. Hit the 'G' key whilst holding a portal gun, 3. walk through the portal whilst holding the mob with your portal gun, and there ya go! You've transported a mob with ya!

AERIAL FAITH PLATES AND PORTAL GUnS

The next recipes are going to be PORTAL GUNS and AERIAL FAITH PLATES! (personally my 2 favorite items from the portal guns mod) Best for last, eh?

The recipe beneath is the portal gun recipe! By placing a miniature black hole in the middle, iron in the top-middle, full right row, and in the bottom left, following obsidian in the top-left and bottom-middle followed by a diamond in the left-middle, you make a default blue portal gun.

Although I'm not sure how to get the orange one, in survivals, my portal gun just changes colors from time to time! (I personally like the orange one better, but have no idea why it changes!)

-To use it, simply hold it in your hand and left-click to launch the upper portal on the cursor, and right-click to launch the downer portal on the cursor.

-There are 5 types of portal guns: the plain blue one, P-body's (the orange one), Atlas', the Bacon one and the potato one.

-Hit the 'G' key whilst pointing towards an entity or a block, to simply 'pick' it right up!

-The potato gun speaks to you.

-Hit the middle mouse button click, (click with the scroll wheel) whilst holding your portal gun to have it zoom in a lot!

-When it comes to withers or other bosses, using a portal gun to hold the boss inplace, while a friend/relative is playing with you and killing it is an excelent strategy! MrShnig and me killed 2 withers using 1. An OP iron cleaver from Tinkers' Construct (25+ attack damage) 2. Him holding the wither in place. 3. Me in a wolverine suit, having the claws out to gain strength 13! (wear the whole wolverine suit and press the suit ability 1 key to get the claws out to gain rather than strength 3, strength 13)

Another way of getting portal guns is finding them in loot bags, as they seem to be EXTREMELY common for some random reason!

You can ALSO put your extra portal guns on display pedestals!

Aerial faith platest are sort-of like pressure plates, which launch mobs, items or YOU into the air! Simple drop an item, have a mob walk onto it or hop onto it and see where it takes you for yourself! One of my two favorite items in the mod, too! (the other one being the portal gun itself, preferably the orange one, because why not orange? :D )

Here's a little 'ol example I made using a gravity core from the starminer mod to make a gravitational orbit, and an aerial faith plate to get to my emeralds with!
